Dragon Capital Sells Warehouse Complex Near Kyiv to EVA Network

21.02.2025
UERI HOLDING LIMITED, a company within the Dragon Capital group, has completed the sale of the logistics complex Omega-1 Logistics in the Kyiv region to RUSH LLC, the owner of the EVA retail chain.

The transaction value remains undisclosed.

The warehouse complex, located at 8 Obiizna Road near Brovary, has a total area of 19,119 sq. m. Dragon Capital acquired the asset in 2017.

Tomas Fiala, CEO of Dragon Capital: "We initiated this deal in the fall of last year and are pleased to have finalized it on schedule. The buyer’s team was one of the most professional we have worked with in the local market. We are confident that EVA has acquired a valuable asset that will support its continued strategic growth.

Dragon Capital is an investment company that buys and sells assets based on financial, investment, or market considerations. We acquired the Omega-1 logistics complex eight years ago from the then Alpha Bank for one of our real estate funds. This has been an excellent asset, consistently delivering high returns for the fund’s shareholders. Following this transaction, the fund retains seven properties, with its total size decreasing by only 9%.

Today, Dragon Capital’s commercial real estate portfolio includes 25 properties with a total area of 560,000 sq. m. We strongly believe in the high investment potential of Ukrainian real estate and see it as the best way to bet on Ukraine’s macroeconomic growth while generating current income equal to or even exceeding the yields on Ukrainian government bonds."
