Jessup Cup is the oldest (since 1959) and the most prestigious competition for law students globally. Jessup is the world’s largest moot court competition, with participants from over 550 law schools in more than 80 countries. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations.

One team is allowed to participate from every eligible school. This year, for the first time in the history of the competition in Ukraine (since 1995), the team from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University won the national part of the competition and represented Ukraine in the USA.

Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition took place on March 27 - April 2 in Washington (USA). It was attended by 132 teams from 86 countries.
