Dragon Capital Acquires Warehouse in Kharkiv

Dragon Capital Investments Limited, a member of the Dragon Capital group of companies, has acquired warehouse complex in Kharkiv from M.O.T. Invest (Austria).

The deal value is not disclosed.

Built in 2009, the warehouse is a class A storage complex with 13,132 m2 of total space, located in the village of Solonytsivka near Kharkiv. M.O.T. Invest’s local publishing house and book seller (“Family Leisure Club”) will stay on as a tenant after the acquisition.

Volodymyr Tymochko, Managing Director for Private Equity at Dragon Capital, said, “We are happy to have closed before year-end our 10th acquisition in the warehouse sector since 2016, bringing our total stock of industrial space to 303,000 m2. This deal is Dragon’s first investment in the sector outside of the Kyiv region, and our first property investment in Kharkiv, the 2nd largest Ukrainian city, reflecting our confidence in robust demand for quality logistics space across the country.”
