Ukreximbank — Books $43m net profit in 2Q25, CAR up to 14.4%

According to preliminary NBU data, state-owned Ukreximbank booked net profit of $43m (UAH 1.7bn) in 2Q25, down from $59m (UAH 2.5bn) in 1Q25, bringing 1H25 net income to $102m (UAH 4.2bn), down 9.1% y-o-y.

Bank UAH lending remains strong in June

The stock of gross hryvnia-denominated loans issued by Ukrainian banks rose 2.1% m-o-m to UAH 938bn in June, following a 2.8% increase in May, bringing the YTD growth rate to 13% vs. 8.9% in 1H24. FX-denominated loans increased by 1.3% m-o-m to $6.3bn, reversing the 1.1% decline in May and remaining flat YTD (+0.1% YTD).
