Ukreximbank

The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine, or Ukreximbank, is one of Ukraine’s largest banks with end-1Q26 assets of $6.6bn and customer deposit of $5.4bn. Corporates, mostly export/import-oriented businesses and state-owned enterprises, account for the majority of the bank’s loan book. The bank acts as the sole financial agent of the Ukrainian government with respect to loans from foreign financial institutions.

Ukreximbank — Books $28m net income, 17.5% CAR in 1Q26

State-owned Ukreximbank booked net income of $28m (UAH 1.2bn) in 1Q26, down 39% q-o-q. Total assets declined by 9.6% q-o-q to $6.6bn, while customer deposits dropped by 12% q-o-q to $5.4bn. NIM, based on net interest-bearing assets and in UAH terms, inched up by 0.2pp q-o-q to 4.2%. The bank booked a capital adequacy ratio of 17.5% as of end-1Q26, up 0.6pp q-o-q and 5.6pp y-o-y.

According to preliminary NBU data, state-owned Ukreximbank booked net profit of $66m (UAH 2.7bn) in 3Q25, up 55% q-o-q, bringing 9M25 net income to $167m (UAH 7.0bn), up 13% y-o-y.
