Ukrtelecom (UTLM) is Ukraine’s largest fixed-line telecom operator with close to 6 million fixed-line customers (68% of Ukraine’s total), accounting for almost half of total domestic fixed-line sales (local, long-distance and international). Its cable network of 214,498 km includes 42,764 km of fiber-optic lines. UTLM also owns a 100% stake in 3G cellular operator TriMob.

Ukrtelecom — Reports mixed 9M19 financials

Ukrtelecom (UTLM), Ukraine’s largest fixed-line telecom operator, reported 9M19 net sales of UAH 4.4bn, down 2% y-o-y and virtually unchanged y-o-y in USD terms at $167m. EBITDA totaled UAH 1.3bn, flat y-o-y and +2% y-o-y to $51m in USD. Net income shrank by 5% y-o-y to UAH 428m (-3% y-o-y to $16m). As a result, the EBITDA margin improved to 30.3% (+0.7pp y-o-y), while the net margin dipped to 9.7% (-0.3pp).

Ukrtelecom — Current and former owners settle dispute

SCM, which owns a 92.79% stake in Ukrtelecom through ESU, and Raga Establishment (formerly Epic Telecom Invest) reported an amicable settlement of their dispute over a 2013 deal to sell Ukrtelecom, agreeing to discontinue reciprocal lawsuits and other proceedings between Raga and SCM.
