Mriya Agro Holding is a group of agricultural companies established in 1992. Mriya’s current land bank of 165,000 ha covers four regions of western Ukraine: Ternopil, Khmelnytskiy, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk. The company diversifies its crop mix, planting wheat and coarse grains on almost equal areas, so as to overcome the risk of low yields due to unfavorable weather conditions. Mriya also cultivates potatoes and sugar beets.

Mriya Farming — Sale to Saudi investor completed

Mriya Farming PLC (UK) and SALIC UK Ltd (Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company, United Kingdom) completed the deal for the sale to SALIC of a majority of the Mriya Farming’s Ukrainian farming assets, including infrastructure facilities, machinery, and companies holding land lease agreements. The transaction was closed following the approval from the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee. The value and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mriya Farming — SALIC acquisition gets antimonopoly clearance

Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee issued its permission to the UK unit of Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) to acquire 50%-plus stakes in 11 local and Cyprus-based subsidiaries of Mriya Farming.
