AgroGeneration

AgroGeneration is a producer of agricultural commodities currently cultivating 50,500 ha of land in central and western Ukraine and 16,000 ha in Argentina. The company, founded by French investors in 2007, stands to increase its Ukrainian land bank to 120,000 ha after an ongoing merger with another local producer is completed. AgroGeneration produces wheat, rapeseed, corn, barley and other crops.

IMC — Considers interim dividend of $13m

The Board of Directors of WSE-listed Ukrainian agricultural producer IMC, having summed up the company’s preliminary results for 1H18, considers approving an interim dividend to shareholders of about $13m. The Board will make a final decision on the 1H18 dividend following a report by independent auditors, expected in early September 2018.

NBU continues with F/X liberalization

The NBU eased its currency market restrictions, changing the limits on the open foreign currency position for banks: from July 1, the limit on the long open currency position will increase from 3% to 5% and that on the short open currency position decrease from 8% to 5%.
